          For almost 2
years, I was the Writers' Exchange Guide for About.com. That was my
first experience in building an online community. I reviewed hundreds
of writing sites, started a newsletter, message board, email group,
and published over 60 articles. My celebrity chats featured several
famous authors, including Dr. David Reuben (Everthing you always
wanted to know about sex) and Susan
Wittig Albert (the China Bayles mystery series).
          My printed articles
have been published by Economics Press and Webbound. My novel, Hitting 50, is out of print, but may still be available online.
          One of my current
          projects is Love
Your Pet Expo. I designed the website and became marketing director,
taking the site from somewhere off the radar to #1 on Google in 4 months.
That was expected to be a short-term project, but the show was such
a success, I am now their permanent webmaster.
On a personal level, I am a retired systems analyist, living on the Oregon Coast with my husband of 47 years and a houseful of cats and dogs we've rescued.
